Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using VYREX ("the Service"), you confirm that you are at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EU/EEA), that you have read and agree to these Terms, and that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

2. Description of Service

VYREX is a Discord bot management platform that provides a web dashboard, hosted authentication, bot configuration, analytics, and related features. The Service is offered as-is and may be modified or discontinued at any time.

The platform includes serverless API routes deployed on Vercel, an Upstash Redis-backed session and account system, Discord OAuth integration, and a static web interface.

3. Accounts & Registration

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate information when registering with email and password.
• One person or organisation may not maintain multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions.
• You must immediately notify us of any unauthorised use of your account.
• Account sharing is permitted for team access via the built-in staff/owner tier system — do not share credentials.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use VYREX to:

• Violate Discord's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, or Developer Policy
• Engage in spam, harassment, hate speech, or illegal activity through your bot
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or data
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or probe the API beyond normal use
• Distribute malware or phishing content through bot embeds or messages
• Use the service to facilitate abuse, raids, or targeted harassment of Discord communities
• Resell or sublicense the service without written permission

Violation of acceptable use policies may result in immediate account suspension without notice.

5. Billing & Payments

Paid tiers (Pro, Premium) are billed through Stripe. By subscribing:

• You authorise recurring charges to your payment method at the selected billing interval
• Refunds are issued at our discretion within 14 days of purchase for unused service
• Downgrading takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to subscribers

If Stripe billing is not yet activated on your deployment, pricing tiers are illustrative only.

6. Intellectual Property

VYREX and its original content, features, and architecture are owned by their respective creators. You retain ownership of:

• Content posted through your bot to Discord servers
• Configuration data stored in your Redis instance
• Embed designs created with the Embed Builder

You grant us a limited licence to process your configuration data solely to provide the Service.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VYREX AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time via Dashboard → Settings → Danger Zone → Delete my account.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Account data is deleted from Redis within 24 hours of termination.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, and failing that, through binding arbitration or the courts of the jurisdiction where the service operator is located.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be announced via the dashboard notification system at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
